Description

The PRO-225D Clamshell Labeling Machine offers the capability to apply both top and bottom labels to clamshell packages, as well as C-shaped and L-shaped labeling. What sets the PRO-225D apart is its innovative wipe-in design, ensuring precise label adherence to the container. Additionally, it provides the option to apply a full wrap or an under-tuck tamper-evident seal.

The conveyor system of this machine features twin belts that effectively transport, align, and space clamshell packaging at the labeling station for optimal efficiency. To guarantee impeccable label placement, products are pre-aligned before entering the labeling station. Moreover, a specialized wiping system imparts a polished finish to the tamper-evident seal, while a mechanism securely embeds the label into the container's recess for an even more secure and flawless labeling outcome. Optional features for this machine encompass a hot stamp printer, thermal transfer capabilities, and the Print and Apply system.

Frame Construction

Crafted from S304 stainless steel and hardened anodized aluminum, the labeler's frame assembly facilitates effortless and effective maintenance.

Control Interface

The labeler's control system features a spacious touch screen panel that is CE and UL certified, ensuring efficient and effective monitoring of the labeling process. The control box and external connections of the labeler adhere to CE and UL safety regulations, boasting an IP65 rating to ensure the longevity and stability of the control system.

Applicator Assembly

The labeling process is meticulously managed by a Panasonic micro process controller PLC, guaranteeing swift and consistent performance. Label dispensing is powered by a stepper motor to ensure labeling precision, efficiency, and speed while maintaining low energy consumption. (For high-speed requirements, the option of a servo motor is available.)

It employs renowned branded fiber optics and infrared sensors for precise detection and signal triggering, free from interference. The standard label applicator width is available in both 180mm and 250mm, with the applicator designed to accommodate future hot foil printer assembly attachments.

The labeler is easily adjustable through the included hand wheel assembly, offering efficiency and effectiveness in achieving various label positions to maximize production output.
